Dr. med. Markus Klöppel, a well respected board certified Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon and head of BREASTetics, is your expert when it comes to HD endoscopic axillary breast augmentation in Munich.
He has been practicing this special method of breast augmentation with silicone implants without visible and disturbing scars for over 20 years. Over time, he has perfected this unique method into his own advanced technique 3.0 by Klöppel which is now being offered exclusively at BREASTetics, the first center for endoscopic breast augmentation in Europe.
With great passion and for almost two decades, Dr. Klöppel has dedicated himself exclusively to aesthetic plastic surgery as an independent plastic surgeon and is providing successfully the highest standard of patient care at his own nationwide well recognized private aesthetic surgery clinic in Munich.
Dr. Klöppel is a long-term faculty and member of the competence center of the renowned breast implants manufacturing company MENTOR. He is a well recognized lecturer for numerous national and international Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery meetings and societies.
In addition, he leads his own surgical workshop on endoscopic breast augmentation for specialist colleagues.

Career
After completing his medical studies (1983-1989) in Bonn, Berlin and Munich, Dr. Markus Klöppel was a research assistant at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar of the Technical University of Munich from 1990 as part of his doctorate. There he worked very successfully for a total of seven years in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the direction of the internationally renowned Professor Dr. med. E. Biemer at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar of the Technical University of Munich, where he learned the endoscopic breast augmentation technique in every detail and perfected it during the years to his own method.
For his scientific work in which he pursued primarily the growth of the vascularization in tissues, skin and muscles, he received a perennial research fellowship of the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG as well as several scientific awards and prizes. Study visits at Harvard Medical School (Boston, Massachusetts), Groote Schuur Hospital (University of Cape Town, South Africa) and at many other institutions were important career stages.
Dr. Klöppel works closely with the university research departments to ensure that his patients are always treated medically, scientifically and technically at the highest level.
At the moment, Dr. Klöppel cooperates with the Technical University Munich, the plastic surgery department of the Klinikum Rechts der Isar. The cooperation involves a prospective trial on the subject of quality of life after aesthetic surgeries. In addition, he gives lectures at numerous national and international congresses on subjects of aesthetic surgery.
Since 2003, Dr. Klöppel pursues with great success as an independent plastic surgeon only the aesthetic surgery. From 2005 to 2022 he was established with his own practice clinic Dr. Klöppel & Kollegen in the MediCenter Munich-Solln, before he now opened with the THERESIUM in October 2022 one of Germany’s largest centers for aesthetic surgery & medicine in Munich at the Theresienwiese.
